Ultraviolet lamps are designed to emit a 185 nm wavelength, which causes a photochemical reaction that damages the DNA structures of microorganisms in water.

The device looks like a large flask that is filled with mercury and gas. At both ends of the device there are special electrodes that create a charge voltage and act on mercury.

Ultraviolet perfectly copes with the elimination of bacteria, destroying their structure, and is actively used to purify air, water, as well as infectious diseases.

UV lamp is a source of artificial light, which, due to the contact of mercury with electricity, creates a neon-blue glow. The spectrum range is always between visible and X-ray radiation.
